Morning guys. Enjoyed the interview today, particularly the part where Ann discussed roping her hubby in to a collaboration as I am considering similar with lovely wifey Denise. She is happy to be my first beta reader although we haven’t tried it yet so we’ll see how that goes.
I always work on more than one project at a time as a kind of insurance; if one project runs out of steam I am already into another project or two so it doesn’t matter, project A can go into stasis until I want to revive it.
Interesting view of the future. I never worry about the future, que sera sera. I’ve always thought it’s only worth worrying about the things we can control – is that Stoicism?

I knew that name sounded familiar! I saw Ann speak at the Chanticleer Authors Conference in Washington state three years ago now. She spoke on worldbuilding and creating diehard fans. Her fanbase is definitely #goals. I remember at the awards banquet after party I told her how much I enjoyed her sessions, but that’s the extent of my interactions with her. Good times!
