Interesting interview today. I love his story about the evils of the internet; it’s super to see someone so successful at scribbling sometimes succumbs to squandering spells on something so senseless as cyberspace.
My takeaway from this is good writing is good writing, doesn’t matter what format. So David appears able to write great screenplays and great novels. I’ve watched and love some of his films
Wow. So Postapoc may be about to rise up in popularity. I think I might put in 20 minutes a day to finishing my own postapoc novel – it’s a standalone I started after AOT 2018. It’s been resting in my TBD pile but I’m a better writer now. If I can finish it in time, I may be able to catch the next big wave.
Great interview.
